Healing Through Guided Movement


Program Description

An initial assessment to identify mental health goals, exercise preferences, life circumstances, and any physical constraints. Participation in group exercise sessions over 8 weeks. Participation in a discussion group focused on exercise adherence and motivational strategies over 8 weeks. Development of a personal exercise plan to supplement weekly group exercise sessions. The group program provides social support from fellow participants in addition to the support provided by Gina and Dan. Similar to the individual program, results will be assessed using an instrument called The Profile of Mood States, and program adjustments will be made to maximize results. Please note that groups require a minimum of 4 participants. We will start a group when at least 4 individuals have committed to joining. Alternatively, If you know people who would like to join you in a new group, we are happy to discuss creating a private MFM group for you.
